Opening Hours

The surgery is open at the following times

The doctors and nurses carry out surgeries throughout most of the opening hours. However, the staff take emergency telephone calls only between 12:30 and 13:30 daily.

Please note the surgery is closed on the first Wednesday of the month from 12:30 - 13:30 for staff training.

* The Practice is not open on Saturday, Sunday or official Bank Holidays

Extended Hours

The surgery is offers extended opening at different times during the week.  There are appointments usually available with GPs on:

Tuesday evening from 6.30 - 7.30pm

Friday mornings from 7:00 - 8am

When We Are Closed

Medvivo is a local consortium of doctors and nurses who are based at Chippenham and they are responsible for all out of hours emergency medical cover from 18:30 to 08:00 Monday to Friday, all day and night Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays.

A doctor is on call for all of Devizes and the surrounding areas. Try to restrict your calls to genuine emergencies which cannot wait until normal surgery opening hours. Patients who are medically fit to do so will be asked to attend Chippenham hospital depending on the time of day.

Patients who are unwell will still be visited at home if, in the opinion of the doctor, they are not fit to travel.
